Astragalus, Sheep and Scorpion Soup
Overview
Let’s continue eating mutton. Yesterday’s mutton scorpion was braised in soy sauce. Today, I used the steaming and stewing function of the Minhang automatic cooking machine to stew it with some astragalus and red dates!

Soak sheep and scorpions in water with bleeding water

Put it in a pot and blanch until it scums, take it out and rinse it with running water

The cooking machine starts to preheat by itself

After preheating, add the boiled sheep scorpions and an appropriate amount of water, preferably clear soup

Add astragalus, red dates, ginger slices and aniseed

Select the "Steam and Stew" function and set the time to 50 minutes

After boiling, add some cooking wine, cover the lid and continue the steaming and stewing function

After cooking for 30 minutes, add the chopped carrots

After boiling again, add salt to taste and continue the steaming and stewing function

When the time is up, do not take it out of the pot immediately and use the residual heat to simmer for 10 minutes
