Ingredients
Steps
-
Weigh the glutinous rice flour into a basin
-
Take a small bowl and add sugar, orange marmalade, and beetroot powder. I made the orange marmalade myself, with orange peel particles
-
Add appropriate amount of boiling water and mix well to form red sugar water
-
Pour the red sugar water into the glutinous rice flour and mix thoroughly. I added about 145 grams of red sugar water. The amount of water is for reference only
-
Take another high-temperature bowl and brush it with some oil
-
Pour the pink glutinous rice flour paste into an oiled bowl, cover it and place it in the microwave on high heat for 2 minutes
-
Take it out and mix it evenly with chopsticks
-
Put it in the microwave again for 1-2 minutes, take it out and stir evenly again. Be careful that your hands will be hot during the whole process
-
After cooling slightly, apply oil on your hands and knead the dough into a long shape
-
Cut into small pieces
-
Put cooked glutinous rice flour in another pot. You can bake it in the oven, steam it, or microwave it. 50 grams actually doesn’t take much
-
Put sparingly so that they don't stick to each other. Shake the bowl to coat evenly with the flour before adding in, coating layer by layer
-
Finally, use a sieve to sift off the excess powder
