Five steps to make Korean braised beef brisket

Beef brisket is one of my favorite ingredients. The Chinese way of cooking beef brisket is mainly to stew white radish or cook it with tomatoes. Compared to the Korean way, the ingredients are relatively less used, but it is already very delicious when made. Let's make a Korean-style braised beef brisket with Xiaoyue. It's delicious and full of love when simmered over slow fire.

Soak beef brisket in room temperature water for 30 minutes.

Drain the water from the beef brisket and marinate it with beer, sugar, pepper and cornstarch for 1 hour.

Heat a pan over medium heat, add a little oil, add beef brisket and fry until fragrant.

Add chestnuts, quail eggs, garlic, Korean pear mince, dark soy sauce, rock sugar and pepper and bring to a boil. Cover the pot, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer for 40 minutes.

Open the lid of the pot, add carrots, white mushrooms and green onions, cover the pot and cook for 5-8 minutes. Serve.
