【Baking for Beginners】Margherita Cookies
Overview
A biscuit that is basically known to those who have been involved in baking - margarita biscuits, which have a crispy texture and melt in your mouth. They are also the easiest biscuits to make. This is the first time I made this biscuit. Because I walked away for a while during the baking process and didn't pay attention to the changes in the biscuits, the color was a little dark and the cup...but the taste didn't have a big impact, and it tasted great. The amount made here can bake two trays of cookies.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Have materials ready.
-
Sift the egg yolks and set aside.
-
Soften the butter at room temperature, add powdered sugar and beat until it swells in volume and turns white in color.
-
Pour in the sifted egg yolks and mix well.
-
Sift together the cake flour, salt and cornstarch into the whipped butter.
-
Knead the dough with your hands, wrap it in plastic wrap, and put it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
-
Take out the refrigerated dough, take a small piece, roll it into a small ball, place it on the baking sheet, and flatten it with your thumb. When pressed flat, the biscuits will have natural cracks.
-
Make all the cookies in sequence.
-
Put it in the oven at 170 degrees, 15, until the edges are slightly browned. (Everyone’s home oven is different, so it’s best to stick to the edge of the oven when the cookies are baking, especially in the last few minutes, as they will color quickly. Don’t be as careless as me)
-
Take the butter out of the refrigerator in advance and soften it; put the egg yolks into the sieve and press the yolks with the back of a spoon so that the velvet will emerge from the sieve.
