Sausage, Sweet Potato, Peanut Brown Rice
Overview
This one-pot meal can be regarded as a meal served in one pot. With this one-pot meal, cooking is no longer necessary. This pot of rice is cooked with brown rice, which is a kind of whole-grain rice obtained by removing the husk from the rice through a rice huller. It still retains some outer tissue after being shelled, so it has a thicker taste and tighter texture, and is more time-consuming to cook. But compared with ordinary refined white rice, it is richer in many vitamins, minerals and dietary fiber, and is regarded as a green and healthy food. Modern nutritional research has found that vitamin B and vitamin E in the bran and germ parts of brown rice can improve the body's immune function, promote blood circulation, and can also help people eliminate depression and irritability, making people full of energy. In addition, trace elements such as potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron, and manganese in brown rice are helpful in preventing cardiovascular diseases and anemia. It also retains a large amount of dietary fiber, which can promote the proliferation of beneficial intestinal bacteria, accelerate intestinal peristalsis, soften feces, and prevent constipation and intestinal cancer. Dietary fiber can also combine with cholesterol in bile to promote the excretion of cholesterol, thereby helping patients with hyperlipidemia lower blood lipids.
