Homemade Tomato Sauce
Overview
Ketchup is very versatile. It can be used in stir-fries, eaten directly, or spread on bread and dipped in French fries. My kids like to eat French fries. If I don’t have any ketchup at home, I’ll make some more. The French fries are also homemade without oil, air fryer version! Haha, the tomato sauce I made is super delicious. I eat more than the bought one, and it’s clean and has no additives!

Ingredients
Steps
-
Prepare four tomatoes and clean them
-
Grind the juice with a coarse mesh of a juicer. If you don't have a juicer, you can scald the skin with boiling water and press it into puree. Do not use a food processor. The juice and skin will not be separated, which will affect the taste and the speed is fast!
-
Put it into a non-stick pan and add rock sugar and lemon juice to fry. Because I don’t have enough rock sugar at home, I put in some white sugar, or you can put all white sugar
-
Bring to a boil over medium heat, then turn to low heat and sauté for about 20 minutes

This is what it looks like after it’s super finished

Then let it cool, bottle it and refrigerate it!
