Ingredients
Steps
-
After the butter is softened, add fine sugar, milk powder, and salt, and beat evenly
-
Add egg yolk
-
Continue to beat evenly until it becomes smooth and delicate
-
Pour water into the whipped butter paste
-
After mixing low-gluten flour, high-gluten flour and baking powder, sift into the liquid mixture in step 5
-
Knead into a dough with your hands. (If it’s too sticky, add more flour) Knead it into a ball, don’t knead it for too long. Let the kneaded dough rest for half an hour
-
Roll out the rested dough on a chopping board into a 1CM thick sheet, then let it rest for fifteen minutes
-
Use a donut mold to cut out donut shapes on the dough sheet
-
As shown in the picture. After cutting, the excess dough can be kneaded into a ball again, and after letting it rest for 15 minutes (I was anxious to do this step without letting it rest), roll it out again and cut it
-
Heat the oil pan
-
Put the fermented donut dough into the oil pan and fry until both sides are golden brown. When one side is fried, turn it over in time
-
After frying the donuts, drain the oil and place them on a cooling rack to cool. (Place an oil-absorbing cloth on the cooling rack for better results). After the donuts are completely cooled, brush some honey water on the surface, stick some coconut, colored needles or powdered sugar as decoration
