Overview
When I had hot pot in the past, I always ordered pumpkin pie. Today I finally made purple sweet potato pumpkin cake. I am full of joy. Looking at my results, I don’t feel cold anymore no matter how cold the weather is. O(∩_∩)O hahaha~

Wash the pumpkin, cut into strips, and steam in a steamer.

After steaming the pumpkin, add sugar and mash it into puree.

Add an appropriate amount of glutinous rice flour (a small amount at a time). As long as it doesn't stick to your hands, the dough is ready. Leave for about 10 minutes.

Wash the purple sweet potatoes and steam them in a steamer.

Fry the purple sweet potatoes in a wok over low heat, add a little butter (you can also use other oil instead) and sugar, and stir-fry until thick. The stuffing is ready like this.

Divide the dough into small balls.

I used the method of making glutinous rice balls (thin on the sides, thick in the middle) and wrapped the purple sweet potato in the dough. This method is easier. After kneading, press it flat.

Dip some water on both sides and coat with sesame seeds.
