Overview
Wife cake is a traditional Han snack in the Chaozhou area of Guangdong. It has a thin skin and thick filling. The filling is moist and soft, and the taste is sweet but not greasy. It is a good snack. I made the filling with peanuts and walnuts. Although it is not very authentic, it is delicious.
