Overview

Mifa cake is a traditional fermented rice pastry. It is white in color, soft and sweet. It can be used as a staple food or as a snack. It has a unique flavor and high nutritional and health functions. This time, I used sticky rice flour and aluminum-free baking powder to directly make this rice cake. Using aluminum-free baking powder instead of yeast powder, there is no need to wait for a long fermentation process. It is simple to make and suitable for all ages.

  1. Prepare materials.

  2. Put rice flour, powdered sugar, and aluminum-free baking powder into a large bowl and stir evenly.

  3. Add 200 ml of water.

  4. Mix well, turn into rice milk and let stand for 10 minutes.

  5. Brush a layer of oil inside the mold.

  6. Pour the prepared rice milk until the mold is 80% full.

  7. Sprinkle black sesame seeds on top.
