Fresh crucian carp and tofu soup
Overview
The weather is so hot that I don’t want to eat anything greasy, so let’s try some crucian carp and tofu soup, it’s fresh and delicious! I’ll have some Cooled Tiramisu later, wow! It’s okay for expectant mothers to cool down a bit.

Steps
-
Raw material, small crucian carp. It is not soaked in cooking wine. Expectant mothers are not allowed to touch wine, and cooking wine is not allowed either. If others feel the fishy smell is strong, they can brew it with cooking wine for a while.

Ingredients are ready
-
Tofu, mid-firm is just right, not soft. The photo seems to have been taken backwards. I really like this stupid iPhone. Hey, stupid again. Forgive me, everyone!
-
Heat the oil in a frying pan. Iron pans tend to stick to fish skin and break easily, so it is best to use a non-stick pan.
-
Fry the fish over high heat until golden brown on both sides and the fish aroma wafts out.
-
Pour the fried fish into the soup pot that has boiled water, and add onion, ginger, pepper, dried chili and other ingredients.
-
Cover the pot and turn on high heat for 20 minutes. Be sure to turn on high heat so that the soup will be as white as milk.
-
Cut the tofu into 3cm cubes.
-
Add the tofu, being careful not to splash and burn it. Cover and simmer on low heat for one and a half hours.
-
Then you can start cooking. Do not mince raw green onions and add them to the soup, as this will cover up the freshness of the fish. The original flavor tastes just right. Haha.
