Sweet and nourishing---Pork bones braised with Cordyceps flowers
Overview
A few common pieces of pork bones, a few ordinary pieces of corn, and a handful of cordyceps flowers, a delicious and strengthening soup was born. Cordyceps flower is neither a grass nor a flower, it is just a fungus. Fresh Cordyceps flowers are beautiful golden yellow and have similar ingredients to Cordyceps sinensis, but the content of each ingredient is different. Therefore, Cordyceps flowers are not a substitute for Cordyceps sinensis. They are not as magical and are not included in traditional Chinese medicine. However, it is mild in nature, neither cold nor dry, and has the effects of nourishing the lungs, kidneys, and protecting the liver. Because of its good taste, it is a popular ingredient and is often used in soups and medicinal meals.

Wash the pork bones slightly and soak them in water for 1 hour. You can change the water several times in the middle.

Wash and drain the Cordyceps flowers, and cut the corn into small pieces.

Add pork bones, corn, cordyceps flowers, and ginger slices to the soup pot, add enough water, and bring to a boil over high heat.

Skim off the foam, reduce to low heat and simmer for 1.5 hours.

Add appropriate amount of salt and continue to simmer for 10 minutes.
