Steam the potatoes in a small pot over medium heat for about 20 minutes.

Add water to the pot, add a teaspoon of salt and an appropriate amount of olive oil and bring to a boil. Break off the broccoli into small florets and let the water boil.

Remove from warm boiling water and drain. Set aside.

Chop the cucumber and cut the cooked eggs into small pieces (chop them larger, because my son doesn’t like eggs, so it’s easier to pick them out).

Peel the steamed potatoes and crush them with a spoon in a small bowl.

Add eggs and cucumber.

Squeeze in the salad dressing, add appropriate amount of salt and pepper and mix well.

Place the mixed mashed potatoes in a plate and shape into a cone.

Use a knife to sharpen the stems of broccoli.

Starting from the bottom of the mashed potatoes, insert the broccoli into the mashed potatoes one layer at a time.

Insert into a tree.

Cut the cherry tomatoes in half, with the cut side facing inward, and fill in the gaps with the broccoli for decoration.

Top with salad dressing as desired.

Cut carrot slices into star shapes and insert toothpicks into the top of the Christmas tree.
