Cabbage Vermicelli Soup

Overview

A few slices of cabbage are paired with crystal clear vermicelli and plump fried tofu. They are simmered for about ten minutes. The soup is light, sweet and easy to operate. It can be eaten as a staple food or as a side dish. Have a bowl in this cold winter and your whole body will be warm after eating it. It is perfect for going to work or school!

  1. Soak the vermicelli in cold water overnight in advance until soft;

  2. When making, soak Chinese cabbage in salt water for about 15 minutes, then drain the water, cut into small pieces, separate the stems and leaves, and then cut the tofu in half or take a small bite;

  3. Put an appropriate amount of cooking oil into the pot, heat the oil and stir-fry the stem part of the vegetable slightly;

  4. Place vegetable leaves, vermicelli and tofu in a flat layer, then pour in appropriate amount of water and bring to a boil over high heat;

  5. After boiling, add 1 spoon of light soy sauce, 1 spoon of oyster sauce, appropriate amount of salt, a little chicken powder, 1 spoon of chopped chili and other seasonings, and simmer over medium-low heat for ten minutes;

  6. After the ingredients in the pot are cooked and softened, add an appropriate amount of chopped green onion or coriander, stir evenly and serve;
