Ingredients
Steps
-
Appropriate amount of meat filling, I used a large piece of meat filling about the size of a fist, add salt, chopped green onion, minced ginger, chicken essence, and a small spoonful of cooking oil. Mix well.
-
Spread the meat filling on the bottom of the bowl, mine is nearly 2 cm thick.
-
Take another empty bowl and break in 3 eggs. The bowls I use here are all 15 cm in diameter and 6 cm high.
-
Pour in cold boiled water or warm boiled water, and let the boiled water cool down! Otherwise, it will turn into egg drop soup if you pour it in! Don't fill it up with boiling water, because there is still meat filling. Then add salt, chicken essence, cooking oil, and pepper. Stir well.
-
Pour the egg liquid into the bowl with the meat filling. You can refer to the amount of boiling water added in the previous step here. Pour the egg liquid into the bowl just short of about 2 cm to the edge of the bowl. Don't add too much. Because the egg liquid will expand after steaming.
-
Then it’s steamed! The time depends on the amount of ingredients you use and the heat. It took me about ten or twenty minutes. Steam until the center of the surface solidifies.
