I bought two kilograms of kumquats at home and ate them myself. My family didn’t like to eat them. I couldn’t finish them so I made kumquat tea sauce with them. I dipped them in bread and diluted them with water. It was very good! Kumquat moistens the lungs and relieves cough!

  1. Put the kumquats in a container and soak them in salt overnight (1-2 hours is fine). I soaked them overnight

  2. Cut everything in half and pull out the seeds

  3. Put the kumquats into a pot with all other ingredients except honey and bring to a boil over high heat. Leave on low heat for 20 minutes

  4. Add honey in the middle and continue to simmer

  5. Cook until it becomes thick and transparent
