Whole grain vegetable and shrimp porridge
Overview
A few days ago, my friend sent me a few bags of Bama whole grains. I can’t wait to cook the shrimp porridge that the children love to drink. Compared with whole grains, the refined white rice and flour that we usually come into contact with lose part of their nutrients during grain processing. The most serious ones are the loss of vitamin B1 and inorganic salts. Coarse grains are simple to process and retain many nutrients that are not found in refined grains. In terms of nutritional content, coarse grains have relatively low protein content and are rich in starch, cellulose, inorganic salts, and B vitamins. Bama, Guangxi, the hometown of longevity without any pollution, takes this healthy whole grain diet to the extreme. Everything in our lives is like this bowl of coarse grain porridge, plain and simple, but it is the foundation of life, and occasionally it is memorable. There is the fresh and mellow aroma of shiitake mushrooms, the little surprises of prawns occasionally popping out, and the lush green vitality. These past realities exist in each of our minds, slowly forgotten day after day, year after year. In every year and every day in the future, I don’t want to face ups and downs, surprises or surprises. I just want to be simple, refreshing, and start every day facing the rising sun.
