Overview
Stewed beans is the No. 1 home-cooked dish in Northeastern China. Every family knows how to make it and eats it every day. But the quality of the finished dishes varies widely. Some people make delicious food, while some people make bad food. I did okay, but not to the level of my mother-in-law.

Ingredients required: beans, potatoes, pork belly, green onions.

Ingredients needed: Lard.

Heat the pot, add two tablespoons of lard over high heat and melt.

Add the pork belly slices and stir-fry until the color changes. Add the chopped green onions and stir-fry until fragrant.

Add a little cooking wine.

Add beans and stir-fry.

Cut potatoes into cubes.

Wash away surface starch.

Stir-fry with beans.

Stir-fry the beans until they change color and season, add an appropriate amount of thirteen spices.

Add appropriate amount of salt.

Add appropriate amount of soybean paste.

Fry the beans until soft.

Add water, not too much water, just a little below the surface of the beans.

Once the water boils, add practical baking soda.

Do not add too much baking soda, only 1-2g is enough.

After adding the baking soda, the soup will be filled with bubbles. Cover and simmer until the soup dries up.
