Overview
The Japanese god of Inari is a fox, which is the fox spirit in our northern China legend, also known as Daisen. In Japanese cuisine, there is a kind of tofu skin sushi, which tastes sour and sweet, and is made with vinegar and sugar. It is called "Inari sushi" because it is said that foxes like to eat fried tofu skin. Inari is named after it, which means a good harvest. It is said that eating Inari sushi will bring good luck, and it has spread like wildfire. I have always wanted to make Inari sushi, but sweet bean curds are not easily available. I happened to see them in the supermarket and bought them. But I only bought triangular sweet bean curds. Later I found that the triangular bean curds filled with rice and crab roe resembled the petals of a lotus. It means that there will be fish all year round, good luck, happy family, and beautiful Hehe. The unfinished sushi can be reheated in the pan. The crab roe will turn pink after steaming, but the taste will not change much. If children are allergic to seafood, don’t choose crab roe. You can put a layer of cherry blossom powder or stir-fry the rice with amaranth juice and strawberry, so that the rice will turn into a tender pink color and very beautiful. Of course, you can also use your imagination to make fried rice of various colors with carrot juice, tomato juice, purple cabbage juice, purple sweet potato, etc.
