  1. Soak the cleaned squid in cooking wine for a minute or two to remove the fishy smell, then cut it horizontally and then diagonally to get the squid flowers. Remember, don't use too much force to avoid cutting.

  2. Soak the cut squid in water for one minute, then pour some water.

  3. Prepare the ingredients, onions, ginger, garlic, and peppers according to your own taste. I like spicy food, so I chose red peppers, but you can also use some green peppers to match the color.

  4. Blanch it with water and remove the squid into a roll.

  5. Drain the fished out squid and prepare it for frying.

  6. When the oil boils, add ginger, garlic, pepper and onion one at a time and stir-fry. If you like softer onions, you need to stir-fry for a while.

After the onions are fried, add the squid flowers, stir-fry a few times, add a drop of cooking wine and dark soy sauce (mainly to adjust the color, according to your own taste), then stir-fry a few times, wait until the color is evenly stirred, add salt and stir-fry a few times, and it is ready to serve. You can also add some coriander to the top to garnish it after it is out of the pan to make the dish look better.
