This is a small pickle that my mother often makes. After steaming, the pickle has a light onion aroma and goes very well with porridge.

  1. Wash the bok choy.

  2. Sprinkle with salt and mix well. Marinate for about three to four hours.

  3. Cut green onions into thin sections.

  4. Squeeze out the water from the pickled vegetables.

  5. Add chopped green onion.

  6. Pour a spoonful of cooked oil over it.

  7. Put in a steamer and steam over high heat for twenty minutes or more, until the vegetables are cooked.
