Pumpkin stem rice porridge
Overview
This is a porridge that my family often makes. It is half stem rice, half glutinous rice, or added with sweet potatoes, or added with pumpkin. It is sweet, glutinous, and thick. It is both filling and nutritious for breakfast.

Soak glutinous rice and japonica rice in advance.

After boiling, add some rock sugar.

Boil again until thick.

When the soup is thick and the rice is almost cooked, add the peeled and diced pumpkin.
