Shredded Double Pepper Pickles

Overview

This is a side dish that I often prepare at home. The pickled pimples are cut into fine pieces. They are soaked and basically have no salty taste. They are stir-fried with very little oil and served with green and red peppers or dried peppers. They are my favorite with porridge for breakfast.

  1. Cut the salty pimples into thin strips and wash them in water, changing the water several times during the process.

  2. Cut the red and green peppers into long strips and squeeze out the water.

  3. Heat oil in a pan, add chopped green onion and stir-fry until fragrant.

  4. Add red and green pepper shreds and stir-fry.

  5. Add shredded pork belly and stir-fry.

  6. Stir-fry until fragrant, add chicken essence and sesame oil to taste and serve.
