  1. Peel and slice the pumpkin, put it in a pot and steam it until it is done. Steam it over high heat for about ten minutes.

  2. After the pumpkin is steamed, press it into a puree with a spoon, add an appropriate amount of sugar (according to your own taste), and then let it cool.

  3. Stir the yeast with warm water in advance, then add it to the cooled pumpkin puree and stir evenly.

  4. After the pumpkin puree is mixed, add the flour. The flour should be added slowly, not all at once, but in small amounts several times. Whether to add water or not depends on the water content of the pumpkin. If the water content is low, you can add an appropriate amount of water. I didn't add any water to mine.

  5. Add flour and stir slowly until it becomes a thick paste.

  6. Put the mixed flour slurry into a container, I used a small cake mold. After placing it in the mold, fermentation begins. Now that it is relatively hot, you can ferment directly, or you can cover it with a layer of plastic wrap, which will take about an hour.

  7. Scatter some of your favorite dried fruits on top. I used raisins, but you can also use other ones.

  8. Ferment until it more than doubles in size and holes can be seen on the top.

  9. After fermentation, put it in a pot and steam it with cold water. After the water boils, turn to medium heat for 25 minutes. You can turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes before taking it out of the pot.
