Purple sweet potato glutinous rice dumplings

It’s best to add white sesame seeds to this sesame dumpling. It looks good but I don’t have white sesame seeds at home, so I made do with it. The taste is the same. You can also wrap it with red bean filling, which is more delicious. Add the glutinous rice flour according to the amount of purple sweet potato, not necessarily my ratio. It is appropriate to make it soft and hard. Sugar is also added according to your own taste. If you like sweetness, you can add more. If you don't like fried dough, you can press it into cakes and fry it in a pan. It's still delicious.

  1. Steam the purple sweet potato in a steamer for 20 minutes. Adjust the time according to the size of the purple sweet potato. Until the purple sweet potato is cooked, peel the skin and press into layers of puree

  2. Add the purple sweet potato puree and glutinous rice flour little by little, and let it soften until it becomes a dough of moderate hardness. Wake up for a while, apply oil on your hands, and knead that piece of dough into a small ball

  3. Put the sesame seeds on the plate, roll the kneaded dough on the plate and roll the sesame seeds on it

  4. Heat an appropriate amount of oil in the wok until it is 7 degrees hot. Add the sesame balls and fry them over medium heat. If they look round and shiny, they should be ready. Take them out and put them on a plate and you can eat them
