  1. Break off the leaves of the cabbage, wash them and drain the water, rub salt on each piece, put them away, and marinate for about 8 hours.

  2. After marinating, pour water and drain. Finely chop apples, pears, carrots, ginger, and garlic into a puree, add chili sauce and some salt, stir evenly, and leave for about fifteen minutes.

  3. Spread the chili sauce on the cabbage piece by piece and let it sit for three days before eating! It’s different from Korean spicy cabbage, but it’s still delicious when served with crunchy rice porridge!
