Prepare all ingredients.

Cut the pumpkin into small pieces.

Put into pot and steam until cooked.

Put the steamed pumpkin and some water into a blender and blend into pumpkin paste.

Dissolve the glutinous rice flour in the remaining water.

Pour the pumpkin paste into the pot, add the glutinous rice water, and simmer over medium-low heat while stirring. About 10 minutes.

Add maple syrup.

Stir evenly and remove from heat.
