Grilled tofu with soy sauce
Overview
I would like to share with you a quick dish, the soy sauce braised tofu that goes very well with rice. I choose soft tofu. In fact, the old tofu is less likely to break when fried and is easier to use. It depends on personal preference!

First up is a greedy picture!
-
Cut the tofu into slightly larger pieces (the soft tofu I use breaks easily when fried, so the cutting is a bit big!);
-
Shred the ginger, chop the green onion and millet pepper and set aside;
-
Heat an appropriate amount of vegetable oil in a pan, add tofu and fry until golden brown on both sides;
-
Leave oil at the bottom of the pot, add shredded ginger, peppercorns and a little chopped green onion;
-
Turn down the heat and pour in the fried tofu, add a spoonful of Huadiao wine, a large spoonful of soy sauce, a small spoonful of oyster sauce and an appropriate amount of water, and finally add a large spoonful of fine sugar;
-
Bring to a boil over high heat, collect the juice, and serve on a plate. Sprinkle with a little chopped green onion and serve;
