Tangyuan is a glutinous food that is not easy to digest, so when eating glutinous food, you can eat it with some foods rich in crude fiber. This morning, I was going to cook glutinous rice balls with sweet potatoes. I wanted to steam the sweet potatoes and knead them in flour, but considering that this would be too time-consuming, I cut the sweet potatoes into small pieces and cooked them with the glutinous rice balls. In this way, you can have a beautiful bowl of glutinous rice balls in 20 minutes. Tangyuan noodles are rice noodles ground from glutinous rice, also called glutinous rice flour. We generally call glutinous rice balls noodles as wax noodles here. Because of the weather, glutinous rice balls noodles are usually only made in the twelfth lunar month in winter, so they are called wax noodles. The wax noodles at home are made by my mother every year. They usually go through five steps: selecting glutinous rice, soaking the glutinous rice, grinding the rice paste, pressing the rice paste, and slicing the dried rice paste and drying it. The rice paste is usually exposed on the terrace all day long, exposed to the sun during the day and covered with dew at night. After a week of drying in cycles of day and night, high temperature and low temperature, the dried glutinous rice balls are stored in cloth bags and eaten as needed. The glutinous rice balls made in this way have more toughness and Q-ness than the mushroom glutinous rice balls bought in supermarkets, and are not so greasy to eat.

  5. Divide the dough into three parts, add matcha powder and cocoa powder to two parts of the dough and knead well.

  6. After the sweet potatoes are cooked, take the dough and knead it into small balls and put them into the sweet potato pot.
