Five-color dumplings

Five-color dumplings

Overview

The colors used in five-color dumplings are mostly derived from natural pigments found in vegetables and fruits. Because my picture doesn’t indicate which vegetable the color comes from, I’ll explain it here. Green is spinach, pink is dragon fruit skin, yellow is carrot, orange is red bell pepper, and white is naturally the color of ordinary flour.

Take a small portion of each of the white and green dough and place it on the board. Because I wanted to look like cabbage, I chose green on the outside. Shape the green dough into a long strip.
