Green onion soda stick
Overview
This is a biscuit bar modified from soda biscuits. I didn’t search for its correct name. I made it myself and it tastes good, especially if there are sugar lovers at home. This snack is very popular. It has a strong onion aroma and a bit of baking soda. It is crispy and very delicious.

Ingredients
Steps
-
Put all the ingredients for the water-oil skin together except the water, and slowly add water. The humidity of the flour is different, and the water needs are different. Knead into a smooth dough and cover to ferment. After fermentation until doubled in size, proceed to the next step.
-
Mix the pastry ingredients together and knead into a smooth dough. Set aside
-
When the water-oil dough has doubled in size, exhaust and knead it evenly. Roll it into an oval dough. Spread the pastry evenly in the middle. Because it needs to break the pastry, it should be spread more regularly for the following operations.
-
Fold the oily skin up and down towards the center
-
Similarly, fold the center in half on the left and right
-
Fold left and right in half, like our daily folding of quilts
-
Use a rolling pin to flatten it into a rectangular shape
-
Left and right fold center
-
Fold left and right in half and repeat for the fifth time
-
After the last flattening, roll it out slightly to flatten the shape
-
Roll it out to about half a finger thick
-
Cut into long, even strips
-
Use your left and right hands in opposite directions to twist out the lines on each strip
-
Put it in a baking pan and put it in the oven without turning on the oven for secondary fermentation. When it's cold, you can put a bowl of hot water
-
After it has doubled in size, open the oven and heat it up and down at 100 degrees for 40 minutes
-
It’s out of the oven. If you like the color, you can slightly increase the temperature
-
Plate, bag and enjoy the crispy green onion aroma slowly.
