Prepare the ingredients: flour, glutinous rice flour, pumpkin, white sugar, white sesame seeds;

Peel and remove the flesh from the pumpkin, wash it, slice it, and steam it in a pot;

Mash the steamed pumpkin into pumpkin puree with a spoon, then mix with the sugar and stir evenly;

Add flour and glutinous rice flour to form a soft and smooth dough, cover with plastic wrap and let rest for 5 minutes;

Roll the bean paste into evenly sized balls, just a little bigger than your finger;

Divide the dough into two, roll the dough into a long strip, and cut it with a spatula;

Cut the dough into two halves and roll them into balls;

Flatten the rolled balls, put in the bean paste balls, close them, roll them into a round shape, and wrap them with a layer of white sesame seeds;

Place the prepared meatballs in a flat plate and do not squeeze them; it is recommended not to use the pot in the picture to place the meatballs. The meatballs are easily deformed after being squeezed. To save trouble, I used a pot with the dough to put the meatballs;

Cover the air frying basket with a layer of tinfoil and brush it with an appropriate amount of vegetable oil; power on the air fryer and preheat it, set the temperature to 200 degrees for 5 minutes;

Place the meatballs into the air frying basket and brush with a layer of vegetable oil;

Set the time to 15 minutes; take it out halfway, shake the air frying basket, and brush the meatballs with a layer of vegetable oil;

After the process is over, check whether the meatballs are cooked; you can insert a toothpick into the center of the meatballs and pull it out. If there is no residue on the toothpick, it means the meatballs are ready;
