Lotus root starch
Overview
Add fresh lotus root to water to make juice, then boil it to thicken, add some nuts, and the lotus root starch is ready. Compared with the taste of brewing with dry lotus root starch, it is more fragrant, sweet and smooth!

Prepare the ingredients.

Peel the lotus root.

Cut into small pieces.

Add it to the food processor and add an appropriate amount of water, not too much, just enough to cover the lotus root pieces.

Beat for a few minutes.

Filter out the lotus root residue, (lotus root residue is delicious when made into cakes)

Add a little sugar to the filtered lotus root starch water and bring to a boil.

Simmer slowly over medium-low heat, stirring carefully, until the lotus root starch is thickened.

Sprinkle in walnut kernels, sugared osmanthus and mix well.
