Prepare the ingredients: as shown in the picture.

Cut the tomatoes into large chunks, cut the rice cake into thick slices, chop the coriander and green onions, slice the beef and cut into some shredded ginger.

Add salt, soy sauce, sugar, pepper, oil and cornstarch to the beef, mix well and marinate for 15 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan, add tomatoes, salt and stir-fry over high heat.

Add appropriate amount of water and boil for about three minutes.

Then add the rice cake slices and continue simmering for about three to five minutes.

After the rice cake is cooked, add the marinated beef and arrange it evenly on the surface.

Cover the lid and simmer for a while until the beef turns into bao.

Open the lid and mix well. The beef will be very tender.

Put the cilantro and chopped green onions in a bowl and it's done.
