Overview

It’s the New Year after Laba Festival, and every family is busy preparing New Year’s goods. I’m a gourmet expert in making homemade delicacies, selecting ingredients, processing, and harvesting. The aroma of meat is quite attractive, so I made my first homemade bacon. Thanks to sunshinewinnie for the recipe.

Steps

  1. Mix the meat with the seasonings and marinate for about 3 days, turning twice a day to allow the meat to fully absorb the flavor of the seasonings.

  2. String the marinated meat on skewers and hang it on the balcony to cool (I don’t have any string at home, so I thread the meat with wooden sticks left over from eating candied haws).

  4. This is what it looks like on day three. . . Basically no changes will be seen, so be patient and wait.

  5. After drying for ten days, they were all cooked in a pot. I tasted one piece and it had just the right salty taste. I felt that I had cooked it very fragrantly.
