Crispy pork roasted on fire

Overview

Huo Shao is called sesame cakes here. Our sesame cakes include fried ones, sesame paste ones, and various sweet fillings such as bean paste filling, date paste filling, pineapple filling, chocolate filling, etc., but there is no pork filling. When the family is chatting, I can always hear my parents talking about the Rouzi Huoshao and Rouhuoshao in my hometown. It is said that you can smell the aroma of the fire from a long way away. At first, I was very curious and didn’t understand what the Rouzihuoshao was. It turns out that the Rouzi Huoshao is solid without stuffing. The Rouzihuoshao is pork and green onions marinated with seasonings and stuffed into the fire, and then grilled in the oven. The smell is fragrant. According to my parents, the pork and scallions are cut into very large pieces. The skin is so crispy when you bite into it, and the filling is so fragrant that you will be greedy after eating both. So when I got the oven, the first thing I thought of was to make this legendary meat roast. According to what my parents said and my imagination, I used slightly fatter pork belly, not cut into pieces but chopped into minced meat. I needed more green onions. I used five, cut into large pieces, and added the peppercorns I grinded myself. With these few flavors, the aroma has already come out, plus our oven , the roasted meat fills the house with aroma. Although I have never tasted the roasted meat from my hometown, I think it is similar. My parents tasted the roasted meat that I made and said it was good. That’s what I meant. In fact, they had already forgotten the taste of the past, so they thought that what I made was what I meant. By cooking this delicious meat on fire, I wish all parents to be healthy and happy, and enjoy a happy life.

Ingredients

Steps

  1. Wash and chop the pork belly into minced meat or cut into large pieces. Add peppercorns, minced ginger, cooking wine, light soy sauce, and stir evenly to infuse the flavor. Chop green onions and add to the meat filling, stir evenly, and add salt to adjust the saltiness. 5.

  2. Pour the flour, salt and five-spice powder (as shown in the picture) into a small bowl. Heat the oil in the pot and bring it to a boil. Pour it into the bowl containing the flour. (The oil can be just enough to cover the flour, or it can be more. I like a little more oil, so it’s easier to spread on the rolled out surface.)

  3. Add baking powder to the flour, add cold water and mix to form a dough. Knead the dough evenly for 30 minutes, dry it into a 5mm-7mm thick rectangular dough sheet, and evenly spread the pastry on top. Then roll it up from the narrow end into a long strip
