Shrimp Dumplings
Overview
Dumplings are our favorite traditional food. According to legend, it was the Chinese medical sage Zhang Zhongjing who first invented them. Dumplings are also a New Year food in the north. In many places in northern China, it is customary to eat dumplings during the winter solstice. Dumplings are also a common food in southern China. There are many kinds of fillings for dumplings. I added shrimps to the meat filling. It has a nice color and adds nutrition. (Expand)

Soak mushrooms in water

Knead the dough into a medium soft and hard dough and let it rest for 20 minutes

Devein the shrimp and wash them

Marinate the shrimps with salt, cooking wine and pepper

Minced meat stuffing with onions and ginger

Dice leeks, carrots, and mushrooms

Add a little oil to the leeks first, then add the water for soaking the mushrooms, a little cooking wine, appropriate amount of salt and pepper to the other fillings and mix well

Then stir the leeks into the meat filling

The good noodles are rolled into long strips

Cut into medium-sized pieces

Roll into thin crust

Put the fillings into the dumpling skin and put a shrimp

Pinch in the middle

After the water in the pot boils, add the dumplings. After the water boils, add cold water and bring to a boil again. Do this twice until the dumplings are cooked
