My mother-in-law fried the sauced pork for her daughter to eat. If she fried too much, I brought it back to make steamed buns. My mother-in-law said that the meat should be minced, marinated in starch, light soy sauce, salt, and sugar. Heat a pot, add a little oil, add minced meat and fry until it changes color, then add a little vinegar and sweet noodle sauce to taste. It tastes just right when eaten with rice. I was afraid it wouldn't taste enough when making steamed bun fillings, so I added some dark soy sauce to make it darker. The one in the picture has been added with dark soy sauce.
-
Wash the cabbage and drain the water, chop it into pieces, peel and grate the carrots, mix the cabbage and carrots together, add a little salt, salt for about 5 minutes, and squeeze out the water.
-
Before making the buns, add shredded cabbage and carrots to the sauced meat.
-
Add a little salt and mix well.
-
Throw all ingredients for bun wrappers into a bread machine and knead into a smooth dough. 2. Place in a clean basin, cover with plastic wrap, and ferment until doubled in size. Now the temperature is only ten degrees Celsius, and it takes too long to ferment at room temperature, so I started fermenting in a homemade fermentation box.
-
Knead the fermented dough thoroughly and divide it into small pieces. I divided it into 12 pieces in total and the buns turned out to be very big.

Place the wrapped buns in a steamer and let them rise until they are obviously bigger, about 25 minutes.
