Pumpkin is steamed and pressed into puree. Leave to cool.

Purple sweet potatoes are steamed in a pot and mashed into puree. Leave to cool.

Put 70 grams of purple sweet potato puree + 100 grams of flour + 1.5 grams of yeast + 40 grams of water + 10 grams of sugar into a basin and knead it into a non-stick purple potato dough.

Put 80 grams of pumpkin puree + about 120 grams of flour + 1.5 grams of yeast + 10 grams of sugar in a basin and knead it into a non-sticky pumpkin dough. (The pumpkin puree is too watery, so there is no need to add additional water. If it is still very sticky after adding 120 grams of flour, you can add some more flour until the dough is not sticky)

Divide the above two doughs into three equal parts. Knead into a ball and set aside.

Roll the six divided doughs into rounds the same size as the 6-inch removable bottom cake mold.

Brush off the dry powder on each cake with a brush. According to your favorite color combination, stack it on the 6-inch cake mold. And press it slightly with your hands. (Brush a layer of oil on the bottom and sides of the cake mold in advance to facilitate demoulding)

Carefully put it into the mold (you can hold the cake base with one hand, pick up the cake mold with the other hand, and drop it from a high place). Place the mold in a warm steamer to ferment until doubled in size, then steam over high heat for about 25 minutes, turn off the heat and simmer for 5 minutes before serving. Unmold after cooling.
