Grilled Pork Trotters
Overview
There are many different ways to cook pig's trotters. Roasted pig's trotters is a special type of barbecue with good color, aroma and taste. It is loved by those who like meat in the family. I braised it in old soup and then baked it in the oven. There is a lot of oil in restaurants, so I didn’t use a drop of oil in the whole process, which is healthier. Pig's trotters are rich in fat, so they are not inferior at all when grilled without oil. They taste fat but not greasy.

Prepare materials.

Cut the pig's trotters in the middle, clean them, and blanch them twice in water. Fully blanch out the blood.

Cut green onions into sections and slice ginger.

Prepare seasoning packets.

Put the blanched pig's trotters into the pot, add water, old soup, dark soy sauce, salt, green onions, ginger, and cooking wine. After the high heat comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1 hour. Turn off the heat without opening the lid and let the pig's trotters soak in the sauce soup to absorb the flavor.

Remove the pig's trotters and drain the water.

Place the pork trotters on the baking sheet and sprinkle cumin and chili evenly.

Place in ACA oven.

Turn the heat up to 220 degrees on the middle layer and bake at 200 degrees for 15 minutes.
