Homemade tofu

Overview

When I didn’t have a baby, I liked to make this homemade tofu with a bit of spiciness, but now I rarely eat spicy food. There are many dishes that babies need to eat, and they taste good even if they are not spicy

Steps

  1. Soak the tofu you bought in water for a while to remove the beany smell

  2. Cut the tofu into small pieces with a knife so that it can absorb the flavor easily. Chop the ginger and green onions and set aside

  3. Pour oil into the bottom of the pot and heat it up. Add onion and ginger and stir-fry until fragrant. It should not be over high heat as it may burn.

  4. When the tofu is fragrant, pour in the tofu. Do not use a spatula to stir-fry as it may break. Just shake the pot gently.

  5. After watching the tofu set, add light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, and a little salt, add a little water, and cook over high heat until the water is gone and the starch thickens

  6. Sprinkle with chopped green onion before serving.
