Tear the lentils from the pointed end along the meridians.

Remove the tendons at both ends.

Rinse and drain.

Slice garlic and cut red pepper into sections.

Heat oil in a hot pan, add lentils and stir-fry for about a minute.

Add a little salt and continue stir-frying.

Fry until both sides are slightly charred and the skin becomes wrinkled, then take it out and set aside.

Return oil to the pan, add garlic slices and chili segments, add a little salt and stir-fry until cooked through.

Add a spoonful of bean paste.

Fry until fragrant.

Pour the lentils into the pot, mix and stir-fry evenly. You can add a little water and simmer for a minute or two to let the lentils become soft and glutinous.
