Overview
Today I steamed a pot of flower rolls and cut some ham into them. It was so fragrant.

Add yeast powder to the flour, then slowly add warm water to the flour several times, and stir gently with chopsticks to form a fluffy consistency.

Knead it into a smooth dough with your hands, cover it and leave it in a warm place to ferment.

Ferment until doubled in size.

Take out the dough and knead it thoroughly to deflate it.

Roll out the dough into a large, evenly thick piece.

Apply a layer of oil, sprinkle with a layer of salt, and then sprinkle with a layer of ham cubes (the ham is cut into ham cubes in advance).

Roll up from one end.

Cut into segments.

Every two paragraphs are stacked together.

Use chopsticks to press in the middle and fold it in half to lengthen it.

Twist the two ends in opposite directions, and then pinch the ends together.

After some slight shaping, it will look like this.

Once everything is done, put it into a steamer, cover it and let it sit for 20 minutes for secondary fermentation.

Steam over high heat for 25 to 30 minutes.

Turn off the heat and wait for three minutes before opening the lid.

Take out the flower roll and let it cool slightly before eating.
