The main ingredients are ready

Wash the pork tube bones, put them in a pot with cold water, add a few slices of ginger, boil the bleeding water and remove the scum

Slice the ginger, wash the lotus seeds and remove the skin (the lotus core can be removed or not, depending on your preference)

Wash the lotus root and cut into about 1cm thick slices or cubes

Put the washed pork bones into a casserole, add ginger slices, add enough water, bring to a boil over high heat and simmer over low heat for about an hour

Then add the lotus root and lotus seeds, cook until the lotus root is soft and cooked, then add appropriate amount of salt
