Coke Chicken Wings

Chicken wings are the simplest way to make and don’t require too much seasoning. Both adults and children love to eat them.

Make two slits on the back of the chicken wings to facilitate the removal of blood foam and odor.

Soak in clean water for ten minutes to soak out the blood inside.

Put the chicken wings in a pot with cold water, add onion, ginger and cooking wine, bring to a boil and skim off the foam.

Take out the chicken wings and rinse them clean.

Lift the pan, pour a little oil, add the chicken wings and fry slowly over low heat.

Fry until both sides are slightly brown.

Add star anise and bay leaves and stir-fry until fragrant.

Pour in cola until it covers the chicken wings.

Add onion, ginger and cooking wine, bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 15 minutes.

Add a spoonful of light soy sauce, a little dark soy sauce, a spoonful of salt to taste, and reduce the juice over high heat.

Sprinkle with chopped green onions and serve.
