Béchamel Cream Sauce (White Sauce)
Overview
This white sauce has a nice name: Béchamel Cream Sauce. It comes from a book I bought called "Vegetable Dishes at Home". I changed the ingredients a little and fell in love with this white sauce once I made it. It is a versatile sauce. You can dilute it to make a thick soup or thicken it to make a sauce. Make more and store it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh for a week. The sauce in the book is made with soy milk. I used half cream and half milk. The former is more vegetarian and suitable for children who need to control their weight. The one I made has a richer and more fragrant taste and is suitable for the taste of my Nobao family.
