Steak Wellington
Overview
I learned how to cook Steak Wellington for the first time from TV Mr. Good. I didn’t choose the steak well, it was thin and big! Dried mushrooms are also used as ingredients! But it tastes pretty good!

Steps
-
Add some salt and black pepper to the steak and marinate for a while
-
I used dried flower mushrooms and shiitake mushrooms, so they had to be soaked in advance and cut into small dices. The onions were also cut into small dices
-
Put appropriate amount of butter in the pot
-
Put in the steak and fry until it changes color on both sides. I cut one piece off because I was afraid that the puff pastry would not fit inside
-
Take out the steak and use kitchen towel to absorb the blood water
-
Add an appropriate amount of butter to the pot and sauté the onions
-
Add the flower mushrooms and diced shiitake mushrooms and stir-fry well. Add some salt, cracked black pepper and a spoonful of black pepper sauce, stir-fry well and set aside
-
As a lazy trick, I used flying cakes instead of puff pastry. Take it out of the refrigerator freezer in advance to soften it, and put plastic wrap on the bottom
-
Spread super fine diced onions and mushrooms on the puff pastry
-
Put the fried steak on it, brush it with yellow mustard sauce, and put some diced onions and mushrooms on top
-
Wrap the steak in puff pastry and tighten with plastic wrap
-
Place the wrapped puff pastry steak on a baking sheet lined with tin foil and brush with egg yolk
-
Bake in the preheated oven at 220 degrees for 20 minutes
-
Take out the grilled steak and let it cool slightly

It’s best to use a bread knife to cut
