First debone the chicken legs and cut them into small pieces.

Peel the chestnuts.

Cut the green onions into small sections and the ginger into small slices.

Put an appropriate amount of oil in the pot. When the oil is hot, add dry red chili peppers, peppercorns, aniseed cubes, green onions and ginger and saute until fragrant.

Then add the chopped chicken thigh pieces and stir-fry.
