Overview
Hanamaki is one of the traditional noodle dishes, and there are many styles of Hanamaki. Different shapes will show the difference in cooking skills. If you are a novice and like pasta, today I will introduce a very simple method of making Hanamaki, with 100% success.

Add yeast powder to the flour, add appropriate amount of water and mix into a smooth dough.

Cover with plastic wrap. It will take about 2 hours to double in size.

Take a piece of dough and knead it evenly. Roll it out into large pieces. Apply a layer of oil evenly and sprinkle with a small amount of salt and cooked peppercorns.

Fold in half appropriately.

Cut into thicker, even noodles.

Take an appropriate amount of noodles and gently stretch it.

Then roll the stretched noodles into a ball. Once done, sprinkle with a few chopped green onions for decoration. Cover with a wet drawer cloth and leave to rest for 20 minutes.

Boil water in a pot and put in the dough.

Steam over high heat for 15 minutes.

After turning off the heat, let it sit for 3-5 minutes and then uncover the pot. Remove from pan, plate, and serve.
