Soy milk hydrangea steamed buns
Overview
I have always liked drinking soy milk, but now that I have a filter-free soy milk machine, I have changed my taste. I have made this hydrangea steamed bun several times but there is no process diagram. Let’s try a more nutritious one this time, using soy milk instead of water and flour. Since there is no residue, the texture is still delicate, soft and delicious.

Steps
-
Soybean and filter-free soy milk machine are ready
-
Wash the soybeans without soaking them. Put the dry beans directly into the soymilk machine, add 1000ML water, start the hot drink and dry and wet bean functions, and the soymilk machine will automatically complete the soymilk making
-
Let the prepared soy milk dry until it is warm and not hot to the touch. By the way, filter it to see if there is any residue. There is really no residue. What is left on the filter is a thin layer of fine paste. This kind of soy milk can be mixed directly with noodles without filtering.
-
Add flour, yeast, baking powder, appropriate amount of warm soy milk, and sugar to the bread machine, and knead into a dough (you can knead it by hand if you don’t have a bread machine)
-
Let it grow until it is doubled in size and it will not collapse or shrink when you poke it with your finger
-
Take out the dough that has risen, knead it until even holes are visible when cut into the dough, place it in a bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes
-
Shape into long strips, pull into small portions of equal size, and roll into balls
-
Make a group of four, roll them into long and thin strips, and press them into each other in a tic-tac-shape
-
Knit clockwise from right to left starting from the inside
-
When you get to the fourth braid, knit counterclockwise from left to right from the inside
-
After braiding, pinch the joints together and tuck them in
-
Turn it upside down and arrange it into a circle
-
Add cold water to the steamer, grease the tray with oil, place the hydrangea buns on the tray leaving a gap as you go, cover the lid, and let rise for 15 minutes
-
Turn on high heat and turn off the heat 15 minutes after opening the pot. Do not rush to open the lid and wait 3-5 minutes before taking out the pot.
